DELIVERANCE CHURCH UGANDA

As a local Church we strive to be relevant to the community in which we are located. To accomplish this we have a framework that consists of Church doctrines and practices that are biblically based.

History:
Located in Mbale, we are one of over 170 churches in Uganda operating under Deliverance Church which is an indigenous Church that was started in 1967. Deliverance Church Mbale oversees the daughter Churches in Eastern Uganda, covering the 8 districts of Mbale, Bududa, Manafwa, Sironko, Budaka, Palisa, Kapchorwa and Bukwo in Eastern Uganda.

Community:
The Church is giving back to the community through JOYCE Primary School, JOY Hospice, Buwasunguyi Health Centre and Nabuyonga Child Development Centre , Child Survival Programme among others.
These are some of the strategies to reach the community with the gospel and making ourselves relevant.

Foundation:
Our ministry therefore is holistic in approach, addressing the Spirit, Soul and Body. We have various committees, clubs, ministries and boards that meet for fellowship.

Vision:
Our vision is a mature Holy Sprit empowered Church transforming nations and advancing the Kingdom of God and our mission is to to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the whole person in the power of the Holy Spirit through preaching, teaching, equipping, deliverance and social development and be a prophetic voice to the nations.

Services:
We conduct divine worship services on Sunday from 8:00 a.m to 10:15 a.m and from 10:30 a.m to 12:45 p.m 0r 9:00a.m to 12:00 noon depending on whether we have 2 separate services or a joint service.
