DELIVERANCE CHURCH UGANDA

Background
DC Masaka started in 1992 in response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic that hit the region leaving shattering families and leaving so many orphans. Convicted by the Lord Pr. Balam Luswata started the church which has grown to the current size of  100 adults and 200 children over the years the church has been able to groom leaders and ministers of the gospel who have gone out to work in several places around the World. Younger churches are emerging out of the ministry, notably DC Kayunga, and DC Kigenya. The Church has also grown some community development projects; JOY Youth and Goats Project Kayunga, Maranatha JOY School Masaka Municipality. JOY Child Development Project, and. In 2008, DC Masaka changed leadership from Pr. Balam Luswata to Pr. Christopher Kasagga.

The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the Gospel, to preach Deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind and set at liberty them that are bruised ……
